Cherokee Side Moldings Anyone?

So the 1997+ cherokees have the plastic side moldings that run along the two side doors and a lttle on the fender. The only model that doesnt have it is the SE (my model) I got some off a wrecked 97 sport, but keep hearing mixed rumors about them being next to impossible to stick on a different jeep without falling off. Anybody know what a reasonable solution is? I dont think a 3m double sticky tape is gunna cut it, but maybe a silicone-like glue? Your help would be very apreciated, thanks.

I have those . . .

I have those on my 98, but one flew off while i was going down the highway. I don't like them one bit, either.

If they fly off from the manufactuer, i wouldn't bother.

The molding on my 96 (different molding than 97+) came off my Jeep when it was about 2 months old. The dealer stuck it back on with 3M tape and its been good to go for 9 years now. I think I would try the tape first. If that doesnt work, go to an adhesive. The tape would be inexpensive and not near the mess. Just prep the vehicle and molding real good, clean it, dewax it and so forth.
