Hi
I have just got a skyline gtr r32 1994
I noticed that regularly the battery meter dial shudders
making a funny knock when it happens also lights flicker.
Is this suposed to happen or has i got an electrical fault.
Does anyone know what it is
thanks for any help.

Re: power surge

Let me put it this way, that is not normal. If your alt is going out, and say your going about 70mph in a bend and alt buys the farm, so does your car. Be very careful, and get that problems solved. If you need an alt, let me know. I can sell you one.

My alt went out, but it was when I was driving in a parking lot, and the car was very hard to control. It screws up the HICAS for some reason.
