2001 sebring battery dicharging

I also have the same problem, I had replaced my battery double check to make sure nothing is left on and if it sits you have to chage the battery to start the car. also once in a great while I'll start the car and the tach and speedo bounce up half way around the gauge and then back to normal.
anthing would help

I had a 2001 Sebring 4door that had these kind of problems. After several trips to the dealer - who couldn't find anything wrong - I solved the problem myself. I found that the connection on the fuse box under the hood, where the positive battery cable comes up and attaches was very loose. Apparently this connection was over tightened when the car was built, and, the stud was stripped. I solved the problem by taking the big nut off and installing an extra thick washer to get away from the damaged threads. After that, no more electrical gremlins.
