Here is my story my friend has a 94 s10 4.3 that has some work down like exhaust and suspension, my truck is stock 5.7 vortec. We were driving down one of our main roads in town and we were side by side. We pulled up to a light he was on my right side and a dakota r/t dakota pulls up w/ someone probably around 20 driving. He looks over and points at the road, and i look over at my friend and telling were going. As the light turns green we all punch it. I pull away from both throughout 1st gear and kept pullin away until about middle of 4th where i hit my brakes. My friend kept up with him until 3rd. At the end i beat the r/t by atleast 3-4 cars and my friend by a lot.

I'm not big on racing. But what I find fun is when your at a stoplight and it turns green, go at the car next to your's pace, so they think, "hey look at me, keeping up with a v8!", then just give it 3/4's throttle and leave with the sound of the flowmasters ringing in their ear. I'm such a poet.

I was in my '76 Lincoln Mark IV (460cu in, 4bbl, 21' long, 5,680lbs dry) with a bout 3 other friends, cruising as usual. We see these ladies in a camaro and try to get their attention. When they finally look over they flipped us off and floored it! Well, much to their surprise (and mine too, a little) I pull right up next to them.
I forget the details, but they ended up trying to pass me by going across the yellow lines, only I wouldn't let them pass, when they slowed, I slowed, they sped up, I did the same. We were going balls out at the end, doing over 90mph in the city. They were still in the oncoming lane, when I got bored pacing them, I floored it and walked away from them..... It was great.

btw (it was about 2am no traffic, I wouldn't hold somebody like that If I thought they were in danger....)

Race, what is that??? Nobody on the street wants to play, they think it is a work truck.... At the track the staging guy seperates me from people I have a chance against... When Allen gets next to me in his GOAT I get my A$$ Spanked.....

Got behind a gal in a Ford GT today on the way home and she took a corner onto a 2+2 split road. She looked over to me as she punched it. I was a full car length back and gassed it. We let off after I was a full truck ahead of her, 85. I got into traffic and she purposely stayed back and even behind me to stay from beside me. As I turned off 4 miles later she gunned her car... She started it!!!!!

So far all I've raced is a Dodge HEMI, and a Dakota R/T with this truck. I lost to the HEMI, but that was before my tune. I REALLY lost to the R/T.....I overrevved the engine spinning 4 bearings..

I occasionally race the local deputies in their Crown Vics, but I spank their asses and they love it!

Losses....1. Full bolton/nitrous Mach 1(ran a better time than him, but he beat me off the light....still a loss either way)
2. Fully Built Cummins on both nitrous and propane
3. Got beat by a Lighting from above when I spun through first and second, got off of it, then tried to run him down.
4. Traded wins and losses with some of my friends with similarly built trucks....some more built/ some less built than mine, but similar year models.

Hopefully soon to be added to the kill list.....a newer body style Cobra, an SRT-10, and maybe a fast import for a change. I also want to add a viper of any year model to the list. That would be sweet!!!!
