Low coolant light on!

I have a 97 grand prix se it has 151xxxmiles on it with a brand new oil pan gasket i put in last week and two new o2 sensors and CAT in the exhaust with a 2.5 inch exhaust pipe eliminating the huge restricting resignator>

My LOW COOLANT LIGHT is on and I want to know where the sensor lies to replace it so that it will shut off!!!

Please help! my check engine light was on for so long and finally that was eliminated now this!!!!!! ahhh

Low coolant light stays on and it is full in radiator and overflow tank.

This is for a GT or GTP but the SE should be similar.

Try the passenger side of the radiator about 3 inches below the radiator cap and filler neck. You'll see a 2 X 2 square module with an electrical connector.

The GM part number is 10096163, and dealer retail is about $50.

Mine did the same thing. Autozone and Advance Auto Parts do not carry it. Mine is directly between the battery and radiator. I took the battery out of the car to get to the sensor and disconnected the electrical plug from the sensor. Problem cured.

Hey YUKON, are you still using DEX-COOL? If you are dump it! It may have pluged/fudged the sensor and is workin on the rest of the cooling system!
