Transaxle Control Modules
My Eclipse is eating them like orange "Tic Tacs".
Anyone know as to what could be causing this failure? The car bucks and downshifts until it is stuck in 2nd gear permanately, with the check engine light affixed. I hooked up my scanner and my equipment said I needed to replace the "Transaxle Control Module". I got the car from my sister, who has since claimed that this same part had to be replaced to other times when she had it. Can anyone help me fix this problem???
