I'm in the UK also, and I have ordered from MMH a few times. Extremely fast and reliable. They also have the bonus of marking all orders as 'gifts' no matter how big the order.

Reji kits aren't bad at all. Good detail. The only quibble that I have is usually the clear parts, where they only supply flat sheets of perspex. My latest order from MMH has the Ford Escort Maxi kit.

Media Mix are GREAT. I've ordered P/E parts, CF decals etc, VERY fast and not bad on the postage.... I would recommend them. I too am from the UK, and beat many UK sellers by miles..!!

Re: mediamix hobby

You can also get Reji here www.modelimex.com they are in Czech. Owner is very friendly guy.
Reji is good if you have patience.

But don't get me wrong Wong (from MMH) is a great guy to but it is quicker for me to get it from Europe so if I need it fast I order from modelimex.

Re: mediamix hobby

Wong (of MediaMix) is one of the good guys, order from him with absolute confidence.

Reji on the other hand can be a but rough at times. I love them for the subjects they are covering but wish their attention to detail and quality could be better on occasion. If you are really keen on a particular kit/transkit/decal sheet and there is nothing else about, they are definitely worth a punt. Perhaps ask if anybody else has experience of the particular item before committing, some are great, others not so.

I think they are good. Their product range is one of the best for car modellers. But I think they are ver expensive. For example they say they are official distributor of acu.stion but around 20% more expensive than japanise shops.
So be aware with prices, check first in other shops also.

You need to put .sg (for Singapore) on the end.

Yes, being in Singapore you would expect some of their product range to be more expensive than domestic Japanese companies. Transport costs and import duties will see to that. But it's not all bad. For instance their Tamiya kits are still hugely cheaper than buying at the LHS in Australia! It is all relative.

However given the huge range MediaMix offers I find it is usually more cost effective to place a single order with them than it would be to make separate orders form Japan, France and Eastern Europe.

Re: mediamix hobby

Media Mix is very good for decals and PE parts. Anything small and it will cost basically no shipping fees. Probably the best store for small things.

For kits, the shipping is quite more expensive. Similar to HLJ, but sometime without the price of HLJ. So it worth looking around before ordering to find best price.

One good thing is they have live inventory. So if they say it's in stock, it's really in stock.
