Question Spark Control

WHAT TO DO? GOTTA 91 ZZ28, 383 ROLLERMOTOR, TWISTED WEDGE TRICKFLOWS AND JUST DITCHED SHORTIES FOR SUPERCOMPS. MOVED KNOCK SENSOR FROM PASS SIDE BLOCK UP TO HEAD BECAUSE HEADERS WOULDN'T CLEAR. WAS GETTING CODE 43 BEFORE TOO AND ALWAYS INTERMITENTLY. OH YEAH, ATI P600B WITH 9 PSI BOOST AND 3X BIGGER INNER COOLER MADE AND PLUMBED BY ME. CAR STILL TURNED 11.61 LAST WEEKEND AND PULLED THE FRONT WHEELS A LITTLE THOUGH NOT RUNNING OPTIMUM, TIRE SPIN PAST 60FT MARK, STOCK 3.23 GEARS, AND COULDN'T SHIFT INTO OVERDRIVE AT WOT. CAN I DELETE KNOCK SENSOR OR RELOCATE SOMEWHERE ELSE TO CLEAR HEADERS? I THINK I CAN GET THIS BABY INTO THE 10'S IF EVERYTHING CAN WORK RIGHT AND THIS IS ON 91 GAS. OTHER MODS INCLUDE GRANATELLI EVERYTHING IN REAR, WELDIN SUBFRAMES MADE BY ME, SHORT 2 ROW ALUMINUM RAD SO INNERCOOLER TUBING CAN RUN OVER THE TOP, BUILT 700R4 W/ CHANCE CONVERTOR W/ 2800 STALL & 3200 FLASH, CHIPPED ECU FOR PROCHARGER, 520 ROLLER LIFT IN/OUT, 8.2 CR, AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT, 20 MPG (WHICH WILL BE FLEETING WHEN I INSTALL 14LB BOOST PULLEY) IF I DRIVE RIGHT ON 70 MPH ON HIGHWAY( HARD TO DO!) WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE CODE AND KNOCK RELOCATE GUYS?

Re: Spark Control

I'm assuming you put the knock sensor where the cooling fan switch should be? You might be picking up valve train interference and it's constantnly retarding the ign. hence the 43.
