Skyline Prototype!!

Off topic, but whatever, I think it looks alright, the front is a little square, but I see the previous Skylines in the lines. I looove the rear lights! If it schools Porsches and Corvettes and Enzos around the track then I'll totally live with the looks!

Oh and staying up until 3am when you gotta get up at 6am just to see the end of the counter = obsession.....or love, I dunno yet.

Re: Skyline Prototype!!

OMG, I like it a lot.

can't wait to see some specs.

I just hope it will again be the new benchmark for Japanese sports cars.

Re: Skyline Prototype!!

And the Colbalt took it's looks from the Skyline, not the other way around.

I think it looks really good. They shouldn't change a thing on the body. The power plant is going to be the shitty part. Not that it won't have a lot of power, but it's not going to be an RB26DETT or an inline six for that matter. One of the things that made this car so cool to me was the inline six and the sound of that motor. Oh well, it should be fast anyway. As far as beating corvettes and enzos I wouldn't hold your breath. That new Z06 is very impressive, 505hp, 11.7 in the 1/4 mile, and it's just over 3000 lbs. It is setting some very impressive numbers and giving every super car out there a run for its money. All this for $65,000. Not too bad. I love them, now where did I put that extra $65,000 I had.

If you think the new GTR doesnt look fucking amazing then your stupid

If you think a Cosworth tuned VQ isnt better than an RB then your stupid

As for beating the Z06... thats a mighty big stretch since they dyno 455whp with 110miles on the motor.

if nothing else it looks 11ty billion times better than the Z06

Boy, you sound really intelligent putting people down for their opinions. And yes, I do like the rb26dett better. I think it has plenty of proven potential, and the sound of an I-6. I don't discredit the Cosworth VQ, but I'm partial to the RB.

Re: Skyline Prototype!!

well u can't judge a motor until it is actually out and announced.

Nissan is aiming for it to be faster than the porsche 911 Carrera Turbo, so it should give the z06 a run for it's money.

I personally like the new design, the rear end kicks ass. If anyone says it looks like a cobalt rear end, that's really dumb b/c everyone knows all nice sports cars have circle taillights, chevy was just stupid to put that on a cheap cobalt.
