a 2006 300c (with the hemi) against a 2006 dodge SRT4 neon thing. My question is what would accelrate faster in 0-60 in how many seconds, how long it takes for both cars to do a 1/4 mile, and what the governor tops them of at.
Thank you |

Well, the the standard 300C, 0-60 mph spec is on the order of 6 sec or less. Don't know about the quarter mile, and I've read that the US limit on the governor is 130 mph. Don't know anything about the "neon thing."

Re: What would win in a race and what are the specs?
the srt4 died in september 2005. there will be no 2006 models. the srt4 is faster with a 1/4 mile run of 13.8 to the 300c's 14.1

Re: What would win in a race and what are the specs?
you also have to take into consideration a lot of key factors: first the 300C weighs over 2 tons w/ a 5.7 340 HP V8. Yes it's very powerful and fast, but the engine has to work harder to pull that big lug down the road. The SRT4 weigh just at 3,000 lb. There's nearly a 1,200 lb. difference between the two, though the SRT4 only half the cylinders of the 300C, but it the weight that will make the SRT4 beat the 300C in a drag race. Now, on top speed, if the 300C speed governer or 126 MPH was lifted, it could run 160+, the SRT4, I'm sure would poop out at around 145, so top speed, 300C wins.
