Im sure there's alot more differences between them, BUT I havent been able to read up on like a book, about all the LsX engines, if I had one, I would read that thing.

Is an LT4 from a grand sport vette on par with a stock LS1?

and what's the difference with an LT4 and an LT1 with LT4 heads?

LS1 & LS2 are considered 350's, the differences are in the internals and the electronics. The LS7 is 427 cid...the differences are too many to list.
here is a little blurb from GM about it...cylinder heads with computer numerical control (CNC) intake and exhaust ports and combustion chambers - which creates ports with surgical accuracy for maximum power production. In addition, the intake valves and connecting rods are made out of high-strength lightweight titanium. The LS7 engines are assembled by hand at GM Powertrain's new Performance Build Center
Pressed-in steel cylinder liners give a 4.125-inch bore and a 4.00-inch stroke, for a displacement of 7-liters, or 427 cubic inches.
precision-balanced forged steel crankshaft
dry-sump oiling system

LS1 vs Lt4...LS1 has more power and more up to date electronics.
LT1 with LT4 heads vs a true LT4...LT4 has more power, different cam and again..electronics.

don't forget,
LT4= 4-bolt mains
LT1= 2-bolt mains

the LT4 intake manifold is also slightly more ported than a LT1...

The blocks are all fairly similar. All aluminum, all Gen III styled. Just looking at them, there are few differences.
Internals and heads are what make the difference in power. For the most part.
There is obviously more time spent on the LS7.
All are basicly brothers to the LS1.
