Question Timing belt opinion

Ok got a 96 avenger here.. 2.0 engine.. got 80k miles on it.. need all new belts.. i wanted to change the timing belt myself.. from reading out of the haynes manuel it doesnt seem to difficult.. Id like to hear from guys who have changed the belts.. SHould i do it myself or take it in ? What should i look out for other than what the haynes manuel tells me.. thanks guys

Re: Timing belt opinion

You should do it your self. It's not really that hard, its just time consuming. Make sure that when you line up the timing marks on the cams that they are facing each other > < like that. Then have a buddy hold them in place while you put the belt on.
