SL vs. Intergra

I have a 94 SL, with 3sx downpipe, random tech. high flow cat, Borla catback exhaust, Dynamic RAcing intake, Venom race chip, and 18" light weight rims. This kid thinks he can beat me with a 2nd generation Integra Ls. This is what he wrote to me..."first off, my 2nd gen has 140 hp, not 130 hp. second, my car will beat ur car." yes, He's talkin about his integra Ls. Am I wrong in thinking that he is completely challenged in the head? Please help me here.

Quoted because its true. THat thing does nothing for the car.

And as StealthModifier said, if your auto he could potentially beat you. If you are manual you should waste him.

Re: SL vs. Intergra

I don't really see an Integra running against a 3000gt... just my opinion... but unless he's got naawwzz, and a couple of turbos to back that up... he's lost bad...

I'm not surprised by the poll results in this section of the forum

Once you guys actually run, let us know how it went.

Re: SL vs. Intergra

even though it was only 6 votes, I'm not surprised either... but for laughs try posting the poll in the Acura forum... see what happens... so amny times, these ricers are all Honda lovers... I gotta admit... I've seen a few I liked... but for the most part, I'd not drive one without a couple $k under the hood

Integra LS runs low 16's stock. If the 3000gt is auto then there is a good chance the Teg would win.

Re: SL vs. Intergra

Hahahah, funny...I owned my 94 SL and a 92 Integra LS at the same time...and of course I raced them against each other. The 'Teg was 5-speed w/ catback, my SL was stock and still automatic at the time. Went from a dig (actually I started a car length behind), pulled 2 car lengths through 1st and 2nd...took it up to about 110 ended up 3-4 lengths in front. Race him...put it in 1, redline, 2, redline, 3...i miss racing in an auto, so little effort.

This thread should not be "who will win" it should be a poll for "how many of you will hunt me down and kill me if I loose to a Teg LS?"
I know I would.
the 3000GT makes about 175-180 HP at the wheels, the Teg makes less then that at the crank.

even if you are auto and he is stick. he makes those mind blowing 140hp at like 7000rpms and about 130 ft-lbs of torque at 5500 rpms
you make 208 ft-lbs of torque at around 4000rpms.

you smoke him or else!

oh and I voted for the teg cause of your lack of confidense. now go blow his doors off and post up.

BOOYAAH.

Re: SL vs. Intergra

i saw a quick integra at the track go up againt a SOHC 3000gt. i almost cried. i mean the integra smoked it off the line like the 3000gt was still sitting there, an continued to pull more on it going down the track.. of course the integra had a turbo

Re: SL vs. Intergra

well, I'd say that race was justified... the teg had an extra 60-70hp at least... plus the SOHC only run 164 at the crank... I know... I've raced plenty of stuff on my SOHC... a teg versus a stock SOHC would be a much fairer match
