tornado

Has anyone used that tornado thing for the intake tube? I've heard positive and negative things about it.

all the reviews i've seen about it show little if any difference in economy or performance. I've also heard horror stories about the fins braking off and since it goes after the filter, there is nothing to stop those pieces from going into the engine. My personal opinion is that there are better ways to spend that 60 bucks.

Re: tornado

I dont have any experience with these but i would imagine they wouldn't help much. on the commercials they use that bottle with the spinning water trick but in reality the air you engine sucks in isn't from an enclosed container, if the bottle had a hole in the end it would flow more water going straight than spinning so i would think its somewhat the same. thats just my 2 cents.

Those heads came in all of the 4.3's, since '88 when the 4.3 was first offered in these trucks. It was glorified, or better known, for the 4.3L CPI (W) engine though.
