Re: websites to drift

true there, find a local autocross event done by the scca or any other organization, if you actually do hit something it'll just be a cone, and trust me they dont do shit to the car it should be a sport in its own XD

Re: websites to drift

you guys are so concerned about drifting, you have to first be able to take a propper apex(the line) first. Then you learn the different kind of drift techniques. After that you learn the apex , use your drifting abilites and apply them to the apex, at this point, you just used the 2 techniques you just learned to make you go faster (Propper Apex, and Drifting)

Keep in mind, racing lines change depending on the type and speed of the drift.

Also: ("find a local autocross event done by the scca or any other organization, if you actually do hit something it'll just be a cone" - gigglesnirt) is an exelent idea, safty first. those people who wipe out on public roads give us a bad name.

Mind you, when it snows, you have little choice but to drift!

Re: websites to drift

well yea i just got tons of snow and having a massive crown vic for a daily driver which is rear wheel drive is awsome, but also pisses people off when im sliding everywhere, i do like it a lot more then i like front wheel in snow though, over vs under i like the over a lot more, and yeah even though i said that autocross thing i am a hypocrit but you should still atleast try to get legal practice

Re: websites to drift

Who doesn't drift on the road? I am just talking about highly populated areas, kids running on sidewalks etc.
a little of intersection nonsence is tolerable, but rural roads are where it is at. And we have plenty of rural roads where I live!
