stereo

What brand stereo is in the impalas, mine has only the cassett how does the cd player in it stock sound? I have a $350 eclipse headunit debaiting if i should put that in or sell that and buy a the stock cd player

well the speakers in the car are what erally matter when it comes to the sound, but I have the CD/AM/FM cassette stereo in mine and I think it sounds pretty damn good, I dont plan on replacing mine with anything different. as far as the brand, the brand is GM. but it is kind of difficult to take someone elses word it when spending that kind of cash, so I suggest going to a dealership and finding an impala with the stereo you want and just getting the keys and listening to it, take some cds with you. get a first hand perspective on what it sounds like to see if it's up to your par.
