Help, I have been trying to use my Ross tech Car code program to fix this code P0122. I can clear it fine , but I would like to know how to use my progam to fix the TPS problem. the engine is 16Y5 I don't know if the engine is a 16Y5 WITH M/T or WITHOUT M/T- I don't know what M/T means
when using the Car code Program I have gone into the DATA window and Chose "TP" and it tells you the Throttle Position, which changes when you move the TPS(a have loosened the "permanetly" sealed TPS screws and replaced them with regular bolts)I just don't know what I'm reading and what settings the TPS is supposed to be set at. It is a 2000 Honda Civic VP, if that helps. Does the Throttle body need replaced ? or what-I guess I need a walk thruogh on how to use my car code progam to fix this. Any help on how to use my Program will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: P0122 code Honda Civic 16Y5
sd far as the P0122 goes, you need to visually and physically inspect the tps and its wiring for damage. also, get voltage readings from the tps. i dont know what a ross tech car program is, but, there is no software that is going to magically fix your car for you. i assume the ross tech car program just reads the codes.
