yah the srt4 kicked ass but the cobolt was not in it

the cobalt is an awesome car. its like the differnce between a viper srt10 vs. a ferrari f360. the viper is faster, but in a raw powerful form. the ferrari is more elegant and smooth.

the cobalt is refined and smooth. the transmission is awesome, suspension is smooth but the car handles well. the srt is raw in your face! the suspension is rough and will pound your kidneys. the transmission is stiff and grabby. the torque from the motor will whip you around. the srt is faster but it sacrifices civility for it

In this price range you have to decide if you want smooth and sporty or fast and crude (but effective). For another $10,000 - $20,000 you could have fast and smooth.

to me id say whichever one looks better to you go with it. there both great cars imo. i like the srt better looks wise except how it sits so high in the back, they shouldve just made it the same height all around.

it sits higher in the back because it is expected to hold people in the back as well as a full trunk. with the car loaded, it sits nearly level. if it was lower it would either sag too low, or be too stiff and throw off the balance of the car
