rear wiper problems
i cant figure this out for the life of me. my rear wiper hasnt worked since i bought my jeep. i disconnected the wire from the motor and wiggled it around, and it will come on if i plug it partially in, but when i plug it in all the way it will stop. mind you this only happens when its plugged in at kind of an angle. it seems like when 2 of the terminals are in it works, but when the rest of the terminals in the plug contact, it shuts it off. any help would be awesome, i have no idea whats going on here.

Re: rear wiper problems
sounds like a damaged plug. an intermitent short acts like this at times.

Re: rear wiper problems
i know this doesn't make ANY sense, but i had the same exact symptom.i had power, ground, and signal but it wouldn't work.got a used one and it didn't work either.went to plug it in and the motor "jumped"but wouldn't work.if i played around with the connector i could get it to work/anyway at the connector, find the tan/blk and the brown/orange and either remove the pins from the connector(if youve done that sort of thing before)or just cut them off (note, this was a couple months ago so make sure u leave enough wire to reconnect in case its not those two color wires, but i'm 90% sure) GOOD LUCK!
