Automatic headlights 95 Avalon

My 95 Avalon has started to leave the headlights on when the Auto light slection is on and I turn off the ignition and open the door. It works as it should sporatically, but most of the time the lights stay on.

It may be the door switch. The next time this occurs, try moving the door switch in and out a few times.

I have not noticed a door switch, just a bundle of wires.
Where would it be located.

When you open the drivers door, look on the pillar. There should be a switch that faces outward and is depressed when the door is closed. This is the switch that controls the Auto-lights and the dome light.

The door switch was the problem. It must have been stuck. It works fine now.
