1996 Rodeo Engine Problem
Hi, I have a 1996 Rodeo and I don't know much about cars. When I start my engine everything seems OK, but after I start moving from 2 gear + it will off and on make a scraping noise. I can't really explain the noise except it is kind of a rattling scraping noise. I didnt know if this would be a common problem.

Re: 1996 Rodeo Engine Problem
Are you sure this is coming from the engine??
Reason I ask, is I have the OEM steel 16x6 wheels that are ALWAYS catching small rocks in between them and the brake caliper - couple times a year after taking off at about 20-40 mph you can hear this HORRIBLE screeching, scraping sound. Hard part is finding which wheel. Only mentioned it as it is a VERY common problem for me.
