main blower fan always on

1999 Chevy Venture. I unlocked my venture with the key instead of the remote and I heard a noise, turns out that the main HVAC blower motor is running. I am not sure if it was running before I unlocked the car or if it started when I unlocked it. (It could not have been running very long because the van still started) At any rate, the only way I can get the blower to stop is by removing the 60A fuse labeled Headlamps. The car is locked, no key in the ignition, but the main blower fan is ALWAYS on. I do have a rear blower and that works as normal.

The blower control resistor pack was shorted out. Replaced and every thing is fine again.
