Snow traction was considered Excellent in #s 8, 10, 15, 17, and 21 Resistance to hydroplaning was Excellen in #s 3 and 20 Ride was best for 5, 7, 8, 11, and 17. None were considered excellent Road noise was best for 2, 4, 7, 10, 11, and 15-17. None were excellent Even though not rated by CR, I bought Michelin X-Radial LT and like them alot at Costco (brand loyalty). They had great exit gaps in the tread out the sides to get water out and prevent hydroplaning. They are quiet and ride really nice (I have a 4Runner). Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get anyone to let you try various tires on your vehicle without buying them.
