Question Which one of two tonneaus to choose...

OKay, I'm looking at tonneau covers. I've narrowed down to one of two designs:

Fold -A-Cover: I like the access. Not real wild about all the hinges. Cheaper than the other one.

Undercover Tonneau. Strong good construction. Access good, but not as good as the Fold-A-Cover. Looks better.

Does anyone out there have a Fold-A-Cover? What I'd like to know is does it let water into the bed? I'd prefer to have the protection of not worrying about the rain. Also, any pluses or minuses (especially from anyone who owns either one of these) would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!!

Rollingbones. You'll find a picture of my folding hard tonneau cover in my gallery. What I like about it - if you take a little time in the installation effort - it is not only water tight, but it closes and opens smoothly and easily and with no time delays. And it is secure. Also it can be easily totally removed if needed in less than 45 seconds and put back on in 1 minute. The downside? I spent about 8 hours total in installaing it to make sure it was well installed instead of just "installed".

Maybe one of those Truxedo things. Folding cover with a storage box built in.

I have a hard tonneau cover and it's cake to get on and off. 6 C clamps and I'm done. Plus it's color matched to the truck. Only thing is I need an extra person to lift it on/off; not because of weight, it's just bulky.

Have you looked into the Access Roll top cover? I had one installed on my truck and it not only looks great, but it takes less than 10 seconds to open or close! Not to mention a lifetime waranty

Smile

I have the undercover...looked at everything else, but this one can be removed by yourself, easy to open, great secuity (two locks), tough as nails and won't scratch like a painted cover. When you take it off, you have full access to entire box, nothing is in the way. Warranty is good as well. Co-worker has had one now for 2 years, little if any fade. The big plus is that it looks good as well. Hope this helps

Im looking at a Fold-a-cover for my truck. Open to other opinions on it.

I like the Jackrabbit from pace edwards. It's really low profile and easy to retract.
