'92 starts, runs, then stalls - help

1992 Taurus -

Starts, runs until warm, then stalls out. Five minutes pass and the car will start again. Then it may be fine or it may do the same thing.

Coil, fuel pump and filter have been replaced....any ideas??

I also have a 1992 Taurus it has 100,735 miles on it and about a week ago I had the same problem. I was wondering if you put it in gear and it stalls or it starts and stalls because when it happened to me it happened after i put it in gear. Also this might or might not help but when my car stalled i heard air rush out of somewere under the hood then like a ticking sound back by the fuel line.

heat has a tendancy to have a negative effect on the ignition module located on the distributor.also try monitoring fuel pressure, if the pressure drops and engine stalls immediately after then that would indicate a fuel delivery problem.

if it dies when you put it in gear, and your fuel pressure is normal,more than likely the tranny is at fault and requires a rebuild.is it stalling every time you put it in gear?
