1987 Toyota Supra Turbo OR 1991 Nissan 240SX

Say on a drift race and the drivers skills are the same...just to make the question more easy. Which car would win in a drift race in your opinion?

Re: 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo OR 1991 Nissan 240SX

What? 87 Turbo Supra vs. SR20DET S13? If your doing down hill and the drivers are equal in skill 87 Turbos wheel base is to long for a short course where flat out speed would give it the edge. Plus being a heavier car braking on the down will kill your brakes, not mention the ass end is way to heavy to really keep up with balanced but lower horse power S13s. That's why you don't see to many Supras in competitions. On the up hill it might be a different story but I'm guess your talking about the Initial D type of stuff.

Re: 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo OR 1991 Nissan 240SX

For ultimate competitive drifting go with the 240SX. If you just want a cool car to go drift with locally or at an amateur level, either would be fine. The advantage to the Supra is that it is already turbo and is already a 5-lug car. Used parts are available cheap all over eBay as well.

The advantage to the 240 is definitely weight and weight balance. Plus there are a plethora of higher-end suspension parts that are available off the shelf.
