fuel grade

what is the recommended fuel grade for a 92 caprice classic and whats the factory MPG rating?

You should be good on 87. Economy should be in the 17/24MPG city/highway range, assuming the engine is in good tune, the tires are properly inflated and there's no slippage in the transmission.

Your engine is the L03 TBI 305.

Just chiming in due to the title.

I put premium into my Caprice (I was told it did not like to run on anything lower). Now that I think about it, I probably could have run on regular or plus.
