Tire ???

My Truck Has 31x10.5 R15 Tires On It ...and The Back Two Need To Be Replaced Really Bad...and I've Been Wanting To Go To Bigger Tires...but, Only Two Need To Be Replaced At The Same Time And The Other Two Still Have A Lot Of Tread Left...so My ? Is Can I Still Go To Bigger Tires On The Back And Smaller In The Front ....the Truck Is A 2wd....because Of That My Buddy Said That I Can Do It ....is He Correct?

Re: Tire ???

If it is 2wd, then you can go with larger tires in the rear; however, your speedo will be off. Depending on the year, this can be fixed with reprogramming or in some cases, new speedo gears need to be installed in the tranny.
