sound like a deal?

02' Impala LS dark blue. 72,000 miles. Fully loaded, onstar, leather, the whole deal. Every option out there. Extremely clean, flawless paint/interior. It was a leased car, probably to a business guy driving it to work freeway miles. I can scoop it up for ~$9,000. Sound like a deal?

Check Nadaguides.com, deduct about 500 from the price, they are traditionally high.

says $12,475 there. Even the trade in price is more than $9k. So I guess this is a good deal

Re: sound like a deal?

actually is pretty much right on, its the guide dealerships actually use to price cars. or you could use www.kbb.com and they price cars high. also you could check out www.edmunds.com and they are close but sometimes run low. but from what you decribed I would say that is a damn good deal. I have the same thing but in black and less miles and wish I found it for that price. I bought mine a year ago, with 30,000 miles and the dealer wouldnt move much on the price but I got it down to 15,500, which at the time, if I remember right, edmunds said it was worth 14,700, kelly blue book said 17,800 and nada said like 15,200. so the dealership wnet online and printed out the kelly blue book value to try to prove to me that I was getting this great deal when I was trying to talk them down, I showed them edmunds since they priced it lower. but either way you look at it, 9 grand is a damn good deal. but not if thats the sticker price, if it has 9 grand sticker, try to bring it down, but I just dont like buying high mileage vehicles. 72,000 is high to me since I put anywhere between 25,000 and 35,000 miles a year.

thanks for the reply. the sticker price is actually A LOT higher lol. I have a friend who works at the dealership who is hooking me up, though. ya, the mileage was a little off what I wanted. I really wanted one with about 50k miles. But with a price like this and my budget, I can't beat that deal. I only put about 15,000 miles a year on my vehicles, though, so I guess this is a deal I shouldn't pass up. I'm so excited about it, I get the car Friday!!
