Unhappy 01 Accent Died, won't start

My 01' Accent died on the highway and won't start. Not the timing belt, not the fuel pump relay, fuel pump spins, changed the fuel filter, there is gas at the injector manifold, the injectors have 8.6 VDC signal. Car will run if starting fluid is sprayed into air cleaner box. Don't know what the fuel pressure is, not sure where to check? Don't know what else to do?

Re: 01 Accent Died, won't start

Don't use that engine starter, that stuff will kill your motor fast. It definately sounds like a fuel problem to me. Some cars have a fuel shut off switch that is supposed to kill the fuel in the event of an accident, and I've heard of these getting tripped by going over a bump. I'm not familiar with Accents but it is usually located in the trunk behind an interior pannel. Good luck.
