Question Stuck in HighBeams

Hello: I have a 2000 Ford Taurus, whiling driving at night and switching from High beams to low beams I became in total darkness. Only Highbeams work.
Since then I've replaced the dimmer switch, and replaced the low beam bulbs, still no low beams. Any Suggestions??

I think you probably have a multifunction switch problem. It's pretty commmon on Fords for the multifunction switch to act up and cause plenty of headaches, as they control so much they have an endless supply of symptoms. Good luck with it!

Angry Re: Stuck in HighBeams

Thanks for the quick reply.....I have replaced the multifunction switch and still no low beams. I've checked fuses, replaced lamps, replaced switch. I even took back the original switch, thinking it was bad and got another.I must be missing something. Anymore ideas. Thanks for your help

Re: Stuck in HighBeams

Did you check to see if you are getting power at the plug for the headlights. Check the grounds for the headlights too.
