Parting out 1992 Cavalier. EVERYTHING GOES!
Ok,
Well, this car was my daily driver untill the unevitable happened, it quit running right. The car would start and idle fine but would either lean out or run rich on any attempt to give it gas. Which in turn caused it to stall. I had replaced the Ignition Module, Coil Packs, Fuel Module, Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, MAP sensor, EGR Control vavle, Fuel Pressure regulator, Coolant temperature sensor, and even punched out the cataletyk converter. Without any success. So infinetly now the car is a empty shell with a ton of parts of for sale CHEAP! If interested please contact me by either posting here or contact me at [email protected]

i also have 92 chev cavalier 2.2l sitting for going on 2 years or so.
i have been driving that car with no trouble only had to replace fuel injections, for 2 years. and simply, one day it wont start. like when i turn the key i can feel it tryin to turn but wont start the enigne. i dont know what to do with that car. wanting to get rid of it, too but i am keeping the 15' rims i believe it came from z24 i traded my 89 chev 4x4 into 98 chev cavailer 2.2l (again) lol

Where are you located? I need a whole bunch of stuff, but if you're too far away it'll cost me too much to have stuff shipped. 4 door or 2 door? Auto or 5-speed?
Have you tried cleaning the IAC? Also, if the EGR valve is old it will sometimes get stuck, try getting your finger under the round part and push up, if it pops loose quickly that was the problem, if it moved easily then it probably wasn't.

Well, I'm just outside of Pittsburgh Pa "monroeville pa 15146"
The car was a 2 door, with a automatic tranny, I am however keeping the tranny for a possible donor for another car... Here's an image to what the car sorta looked like during the dismantling.  It now sits outside with NOTHING left in it. I drug it out of the garage on its floor pan with my truck and its going to be hauled now for scrap steel. If it was inside it and I thought it might be worth anything I stuck these parts on ebay with no luck. Heres a link to look at what I had listed and did not sell. http://www.clanmage.net/~techyon/ebay/92_cavalier/ Items already gone/cannabolised for other cars : Doors, ABS Proportioning vavle, engine, right tailight, left markerlamp, cupholder, all suspension and brake components.
