Ahhh Help *big pics*please come*
Hey guys well i purchased a tamyia 350z on Saturday and i was very excited because they didnt have one in at my model shop for about 3 months and i finally got one. Anyways while i was there i picked up a can of tamyia gold spray paint for the color of my Z. Now today i finished doing the doorlines and i decided to clear coat it with my "Rustolem Crystal Clear Coat" (my fav.) And the paint had a reaction of some kind and now my paint job is ruined!
. I dont know how to explain it but i know that rustolem is nasty stuff to get off and castrol has failed to remove it before on my previous models. I was wondering if any of you had somme suggestions on what do to. I can use all the help i can get please your comments are welcome. Heres the pics. After i started to apply clear coat ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Before clear coat. (side that didnt get touched by the clear coat)

you shoulda tested on a spare piece to see if mixing those two paints would work. Try 99% alcohol to strip it.

Most gold/chrome paints don't like clear coats (it says on the bottle), their pigment is easily disturbed. I belewe brake fluid could get it of.

Re: Ahhh Help *big pics*please come*
As Sasa said, paint with flake in it can react like that with clear. This is why VERY light coat are important. If you put too much, it will eat the paint under it and change the pigment, making it look like this.
Strip and try again, sorry... but it looked great before clear
