93 loses elec volts and tries to die
1993 century tries to stall and loses voltage meter drops way down. usually goes back to normal after a little while or when you reduce elec load by turning something off. does not have to be a heavy elec load for this to happen it has happened with or without the a/c radio lights on. have cleaned connectors at the starter battery and where they go into the firewall. also small pigtail from battery splits into two wires that seem to be fusable links? connector is getting hot where these fusible links? plug back into harness. happens at idle or when going, hot or cold any ideas please help also no codes, 3.3 liter,

After you have checked on the alternator, it would be a good idea to look further into the hot spot near the fusible link. It's possible there's corrosion there and it's causing resistance.

Same problem on 94 Century!
I am currently having the same problems as you described... Car runs great, than all of a sudden electrical system starts going haywire.... loud pulsing noise from radio speakers...engine trying to die...extreme draw on battery, dash warning lights start flickering.... Engine will finally die, and I am left with a dead battery. Loading the electrical system...turning on defrost, a/c, headlights...seems to start this condition, but if I turn everything back off most of the times it still keeps drawing like crazy and acting up... The wire that feeds the inside of the car in Pigtail connector from the battery melted right out of the connector. Also, when this condition occurs the alternator goes into a full charge state...putting out as much output as it can....almost to the point of slipping the serpentine.... If you have found anything that is causing this, or if anyone else has any ideas let me know! Thanks!
