what to do?

i have a 90/91 celica dont kow exactly.she said its a 91 celica with a 90 motor or the oposite not sure.need to know the motor name .im pretty sure its the 2.2 leter twin cam 5sfe motor but not sure.was wondering how much horses its pushin stock and torque.also was wondering if its even worth puttin money into it and how it responeds to portin and polishing cause im good at it just dont know whats my limit on a celica.hit me up if you got answers and modifications that wouls best help me out there .like witch way to go n/a or turbo/not to sure with the turbo though to expensive.help me out!!!!!!

if the engine says 2200 16 valve it is the 5sfe. it has 130hp and 140 tq. if your not looking for too much power then intake headers and exaust might satisfy you because it responds pretty well to those. the 5sfe doesnt have much aftermarket support though. if you want alot of power than a 3sgte engine swap is your best bet, it has 200hp or 225 for the jdm version and has alot of potential for more. it bolts up to the 5sfe tranny but requires alot of work so read up on it in the "read if you want to do a 3sgte swap" section at the top of the page.

but what about portin and polishing cause i do this myself and i need to know how far i can open the head, intakemanifold, and exaust up all around i want somthin that can kick a stock gsts ass cause my boy has no faith in the 2.2 ltr and i do

im a mail bye the way the car was owned bye a femail so i have some valvetrain noise so im already lookin at takin the head to clearwater cylinder heads after the porting and replace everything with performance if not stock only problem is nowhere to find performance parts lost when it comes to these damn celicas but i feel the potential shes a strong one waiting for me to touch her right lmao

and does anyone know the weight of one of these things i herd there heavy my boy chris talks alota shit he owns a saturn i have alota respect for saturns cause i evolved my life around them when i used to live with him but im goin to tell you watch out for them saturns there light as shit cause of those plstic side panels and what knought but thats where i got all my experiense from is his saturn and workin at a performance shop called sidewinders DSM workin on those shit box mitsu turbos that need worked on every damn week hit me up cause not familuar with toyotas wasnt really my choice of a car but got stuck with it and now i wanna see what my baby can do i ariganally wanted a 90 240sx hb cause im a drifter well love the sport and plus the 2.4 power plant looked pretty nice plus my futher future plans was to drop the monster of all engines the skyline motor emmmmm thats my baby but yeah yall hook me up with some info now dont get get me wrong i love toyotas also that supras somthing else but i just dont think it can take the monster skiline motor iight car friends later

they weigh roughly 2700 for a gt and 2800 for a gts. and you will smoke the hell out of saturns with this car, trust me i have. and this car will not be too fast without a turbo due to small aftermarket suport. and a skyline engine all i can say is no. for real if you want a swap go 3sgte youll spank gsts with that. plus 3sgtes are possibly the most capable 4 cyl. in the world.
