Exclamation Cayman green civic VTI in progress (update)

Now that my 69 camaro is finished it's time to start a new project. And while I was at my LHS today for glue and thinner. I found this on their shelf for the first time in a looooong time and had to get it and start on it right away. It's the hasagawa kit. I will be painting it cayman green, and I am planning on adding a Mugen front lip. Now I need you guys oppinions on which set of rims I should use on this one. let me know what you think set 1 or set 2. thanks a lot guys..............*Ryan*

I love those bronze wheels too, but I think it looks too big for that small Civic.

Re: Cayman green civic VTI in progress

Ya I do agree That although I love the look of the first set of rims that they are just a tad bit too big. So I dug through my parts box and came up with this third set. I am leaning towards this third set I really like the look of them on here. anyway what do you guys think.............*Ryan*

go with the te37s, but they do look a bit too big, not really though.

Re: Cayman green civic VTI in progress

Geez, I've not seen one of these around in ages

Those TE-37's look huge. I(we)'ve found the Hasagawa kit to be a bit underscale to begin with, and with such a little car they look kinda like those funny diecasts you can get. I really like the third set though I've always been a bit curious on how strong they'd be 1:1.

Re: Cayman green civic VTI in progress

the size of the 3rd set fit it better, but about the style, I would said the te37. so size or style, your pick.

Re: Cayman green civic VTI in progress

I think I'mg onna stick with the third set. Although I do like the style of the TE-37's To me they just look to out of scale. And I don't think the style of the third set looks too bad so I think i'll be satisfied with them. LOL Will ya didn't you have one of these going a loooooooooooooong time ago, man it was so long ago that i think it's half way down the first page here, lol. I think Johem has built a couple of these at some point to, but that was ages ago, lol....................*Ryan*

Re: Cayman green civic VTI in progress

Thanks a lot guys. I'm stuck for progress right now until this stupid rain blows over but it's comin along pretty good. Mozli The paint is by duplicolor It is Cayman green metalic. Once the sun comes out I will get some pics in the sun to try and show the real color. It looks a little darker in the pics than it really is. Thanks again guys............*Ryan*
