Car starts then stalls??
1994 olds cutlas supreme. I was driving down the the road it started bucking then shut off.. car would start for 1-2 seconds then shut right off . had little to no pressure in the fuel rail, replaced fuel pump -- result -- no change --3.1--ltr any help would be great thanks ray

94 yes it does have VATS.. i bypassed the reader and there was no change. starts then stalls....where is the vats module. can it be bypassed ? is it a dealer item aftermarket or junk yard.. help,, ready to sledge this thing ---thanks

Sounds like you only have fuel presssure during cranking, power up the pump and see if it keeps running, the Vats will not kill the engine once running on the road. I am assuming this is not a problem with spark/injector pulse. Check the fuel pump relay also.

I energized the fuel pump and the car starts then stalls. Could it possibley be the computer??
