MKIII Supra Turbo VS 98 V6 Firebird?

OK, I have an MK3 supra, 5-spd, targa, bone stock except for k&n filter and wastegate shimmed with 5 washers on each bolt. My friend has a 98 V6 firebird thats stock and automatic. He thinks his firebird is faster, but I think the supra is faster. I know you guys don't like questions like this but who do you think would win. We haven't raced yet but we plan to sometime this week or next. I just wanna see who you guys think will win. I'll post the results when it goes down and maybe a video if i can set my camera up in the passenger seat. Thanks.

Will depend more on who the better driver is, the cars are fairly well matched up.

My friend has a 87 turbo with a shimmed wastegate and it is more than a match for a v6 firebird especially an auto

the supra by far... the firebirds an auto, and if you'd ever tried to drag in an auto you'll know how difficult it is to get good times...

plus i love supras, i think they're awesome *and they'll own a firebird anyday*

i have a 90 turbo, and i know for a fact a v6 firebird will get smoked. The v6 firebird is a slug, and an embarassment cause the person couldnt afford the v8

The Firebird will get smoked. V8 Camaro/Firebird owners don't even like the V6 owners.

Supra Turbo ?
There is no comparison... I have raced several V6 Camaros / Firebirds / Mustangs from many different years at the track / street and never lost in my 4x4 Tacoma ! and the Supra is alot faster than my truck ....

Uhm, I beat my father-in-law's V6 Firebird with my 4-door Civic LX...mildly-modified SOHC non-VTEC 1.6 liter engine. I beat him from a stop, and from a roll, when he followed me all the way to the freeway...oh, and his car's a stick. I tried to chase a non-turbo on the freeway once and barely kept-up till 90, and he pulled away at 100.

A Supra aggainst a V6 Firebird? Man! pic on someone your own size, when you beat'im you'll be racing Ford Windstars next. Aim a little higher look for RX7's, M3's, or a 300ZX.

I lost to a Supra on the highway bcuz i heard that the Supra is good at topspeed. Good Luck if u go against a Eclipse GSX, cuz it has da AWD launch.

it's the supra that's going to win..dude V6 firebirds are slow as shit..trust me..i own a supra and i know how fast supras are..and it's not a close race too,,the supra is going to be on top.
