oil starvation (2.4L)
I have been having a problem while time attack racing, During hard
left hand turns I found that oil was entering the intake through the air/oil seperator. I releaved that by puting in a oil dump can. On my last race of the year (on another left hand turn) I think all the oil is pushed to one side and starving the engine of oil and dumping .5L of oil into the dump can. Now I am stuck with two spun rod bearings. Is there any way to prevent this? Any help at all |

Re: oil starvation (2.4L)
Although I can't think of any easy fix off the top of my head, I can tell you that you're not alone. Hard left turns have always caused my oil light to come on. This was true in both my 3.1 and my 2.4, so maybe its some goofy GM design flaw or something, I have no idea.
