ford windstar abs light and traction control light

my 1998(3.8) ford windstar recently developed a kind of vibrating/rattling noise that got worse over a week , it seems to be coming from the front end of the exhaust, also now after i drive about hundred metres the abs light comes on and stays on and the traction control light constantly flashes..if i press the traction control button straight after starting (before it flashes) when i brake i feel a light clunking in the pedal. this goes if i press the traction control button again. can anyone please help.....i have only had this car two months and has only got to last untill may before we return to the u.k.....so really do not want to invest loads money into this....(we have already replaced the altenator and tyres)...thanks...
