Question Yukon 2005 AC climate control - air mix

i just bought a new 2005 Yukon. when i turn on the AC (climate control system), and put the air circulation mode to be INSIDE, i still get a little air from outside. I know that AC mixes little air from outside, by smeling outside car fumes. Is that normal? can i completely seal the air intake to be compleltly from the car's inside?

Probably not. Might be a safety issue. If you're driving a long trip and have the air on recirculate, you might asphyxiate due to high CO2. By mixing some outside air the O2 will be sufficiently high so you don't pass out.

i just want to make sure that there are no problems with the car's AC, because it is new.
