Angry cant start

hello, i got a problem. I had to leave on a business trip and when i came back about 4 months later my car would not start. it cranks but just wont start.. so i tried spraying starter fluid in the intake to try and get it to start but no luck. anybody know what i can do? is it the starter?

the start is what turns the motor over. check for spark, check for fuel, then come back and tell us what you got.

well, if it doesnt start even when you spray ether into the throttle body, im guessing its a spark or compression issue, more likely spark though. check for spark

i think he means that the lack of oil on the cylinder walls gave him no sealing of his pistons rings therefore no compression, therefore no start

well at least i hope he means that and not his pistons where stuck
