Re: short ram intake need help

its not an o2 sensor..its a mass air flow sensor and yes you do need it, its the sensor that tells the ECU how much fuel to tell the fuel pump to send to the injectors and etc etc etc..so its a good thing that you drilled a hole on the intake and fab'd up the sensor on the new intake

Re: short ram intake need help

So with my short ram intake, I have a peice of like tubing on a "nipple" coming off the intake pipe. The sensor is plugged and taped encolosed in that peice of tubing. Culd this be why my gas mileage is not as good as it should be? Should I have the sensor more into the intake?

you need to turn that green piece of pipe around, you have the filter where it it should be connected to the engine, and vice versa
