Struts

Anyone know what a set of these are worth? Apparently I will have to replace them because the car bounces a little too long when you push down on one of the front corners. ((P.S. Could you tell me if it's Canadian or American funds, my is Canadian.))

Thanks

The struts themselves are not that bad price-wise but, the labor is pricey but, worth it to me as you'll need a wheel alignment afterwards anyhow. I paid about $350.00 U.S. for a set, installed and warrantied. A few years later the piston boots ripped off. The part is warrantied but it was going to be another $250 in labor to change the strut and realign the wheels. Forget it buddy, duct tape is a wonderful thing and working better than the factory boot.

However, a quick call to the local shop will tell you exactly how much and in your currency.

Re: Struts

No alignment here ,the fronts are drop in cartridges, but a special tool is needed to disassemble and some sort of basic shop manual for a first timer.
