Engine Problem??

Hey all,

I'm new to the forum, but I thought perhaps someone could help me out here.
I own a 95 Monte LS, and I have recently been having some problems with it. When I tramp on the accelerator, she goes, but somewhat hesitating. She doesn't sputter, or choke, but it's like it's a intermittent acceleration. It feels almost as though the tranny is slipping, but to my knowledge it's all fine and dandy.
Can anyone even attempt to try and help me on this one? Any ideas of what may be wrong with her? I miss the continuous power and would like to add more...but obviously I have to assess this problem first.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Gents! New problem...she is now sputtering...I start it up, it rev's, than the needle drops and she shuts off. I literally have to give her some gas to keep her alive. Once it's warm, it'll run, but rather strangely...Awkward idleing, kind of a sputter.
So this is the new problem, as well as the afore posted? Anyone have any ideas? Sugestions?
