So i have a problem. I have a 1990 mighty max. I bought it about 3 months ago, runs good no problems until the other night i go to leave work. It took me 10 minutes to start it. I thought that was weird but, it started driving and off i went for about the next 10 feet everything was fine. Then i hear a click and it stops running, no sputter nothing. All the lights and radio are still on so i didnt lose power. I try to restart it but it wont start for another 5 minutes. It did this to me 10 times in 7 miles! lol
Im at a loss for what it could be. the only thing i can think of is that it has an alarm that may have starter kill? Im going to go cut the alarm out right now as i dont use it lol. Any suggestions would be appriciated. |

when mine did the same thing it ended up being the computer. mine turned over but would not start and acted like a bad fuel pump. i hope you dont have a bad computer as i did. it cost me almost 300 dollars to get it rebuilt.

no mine turns over, and i think it will start. It started before anyway. but it will just die as your driving theres a click and then the engines off. it weird. I need to find a computer to try but i dont wanna buy one without knowing thats the issue you know? Anyone ever heard of the ignition relay being a problem?
