instrument panel warning light
I am part of an American military family living in Germany. The owners manual for our 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee was, believe it or not, stolen after someone broke into our vehicle. I have ordered a new manual but it has not yet arrived. In the meantime, I need someone to tell me what a warning light on my instrument panel, which is now illuminated, means. It is a horseshoe-shaped orange light with an exclamation mark in the center, located to the right above the engine temperature gauge. There are no error codes showing up anywhere on the instrument panel. The vehicle seems to be functioning properly, but I need to know if this is some sort of situation in need of urgent attention. Can someone at least tell me what general category of problem or malfunction (electrical, engine, etc.) this light indicates? Please help. Thanks
