vs. mustang

its been a while since i race that integra, i see all kinds of race-able cars every day ever since i came to this new town for college, but never really got a chance to race them from the lights. Well, about an hour ago i just got off work, was walking to my car and i hear this loud rumble, i guess the car just turned on the ignition, i'm thinking to myself either i'm gonna have a fun race tonight or this is an old truck thats dying. I got in my car and started it up, i wait a while and see this sedan style body from far away, about 50 yards or so, it was pretty far but i can tell it was that car that was making the noise. I quickly buckle up for safety and follow it, i was lil behind so i speed up to about 60 mph in a 30 mph twisty zone, i finally caught up, and saw it was some type of 80s car, i can see the words "mustang" embedded on his back bumper, we came to a stop sign and i quickly came to his door, he waited a bit and looked over then he went wot, i can see his rear tires burn rubber so it confirmed the car was a mustang. He showed off a bit and so did I to let him know i mean business. We finally came to a red stop light, he was actually gonna turn left but he saw the red lights and no one there but me and him so he turned over and stopped at the lights, i'm on his right side, he's on my left, he rolled down his window which surprise me since most cars i race dont roll down their window to talk, but i knew this mustang guy wanted to talk, which was cool, so i rolled down mine

me: hey man, what years your stang?
him: 89, its a four cylinder with a 5.0 swap into it, this thing will move
me: nice.....

he showed off a lil bit and chirped his tires, we're still waiting for the lights to turn green, he gets ready to launch and i follow, light turns GREEN! and i was actually pulling on him in 1st gear, then came 2nd and that was where he got me, after 2nd gear we're not side by side anymore and he just kept pulling on me, put about a bus length on me before i decided to shut down. He was actually the only one that forced me to push my car to redline which was about 6,200 rpm, most of the cars i race i just stop at 5k rpm because i'm ahead of them already, i guess this guy was the first. Anyways, i gave him my high beams and he took a left turn. "Nice race" i thought to myself driving back to my apartment. Well.....yeah, this is the first time i've actually lost real bad, usually i try to avoid cars that i know i will badly lose to, i only pick on cars my own size, i never meant this car to go up against cars like his, o well, nice race tonight. Time for bed, work early tomorrow morning at 9

Re: vs. mustang

And you drive a corolla?

Let me ask this, what cars do you usually walk all over?

not a lot cuz i dont try to race with this car but a neon, cavy, 80-ish celica, and a recent integra
i've lost to cars that i knew i would lose before it started, 80-ish turbo supra, grand am or trans am (dont remember), and this stang, like i said i only pick on cars my own size, i dont wanna sound like i'm "walking" all over my kills, but usually if i beat them from the launch then i dont see their tail lights again, cept for this stang, try doing your corolla research, no offence

because only mustangs can burn rubber????

Also, you seriously need help if you can't tell the difference between a Trans Am and a Grand Am.

Re: vs. mustang

The part that gets me is...what person with a 5.0 would roll up to a light and want to race a f*ckin Corolla? That just makes no sense. Maybe you two could be best friends Ric(er), because apparently you both have equal knowledge about cars.

btw, who can't tell between a grand am and trans am??????????????? ? And who doesn't know what a Mustang looks like??? this thread is mind-boggling.

Re: vs. mustang

I would like to bring this idea up to everyone:
I feel that just yelling FUCK YOU ALL BITCH ASS SLOW STREET RACING FAGGOTS is not the only way to troll.

honestly no one can be this "out of it" as these posts are. Someone who really might have been a total noob would have learned and not made post after post of such low cailber. Hes probbly in his mid 20s laughing at us.

We are being trolled just because the lack of 4 letter words doesn't mean our fourm isn't being messed up from this. Its silly and drags things O/T and ruins nice threads. Its a drain on the board.

I thought i'd bring this up to everyone.
