Speaking of tints...

I'm about to get tints for my '97 max, and i'm just gonna get lightest tints for it, and suggest to you to do the same. The reason I'm getting lightest tints only because cops around gonna bust your balls only because they cant see a shit through dark tints, especially at night. This is my opinion to you, bro. Although it deppends where u live too. So its up to you. My pics will be available in a week so, if you wanna check the tins that i'm getting, then wait a week and i'll post few pics here. Laterz

yeah i live in florida, the cops around here usually don't say too much about small stuff like the tint but you never know, so i might go with a smoke tint

I live in Pennsylvania and the legal tint is 75%. I have 25% tint on my black maxima. I don't think the cops really care about the tint. I think that if you are speeding they will pull you over and then slap on another ticket for the tint if you're not nice to them.

Re: Can't Choose: Tint n' Rimz

I have 35% Lumar Semi-Reflective tint on my '03, and it's perfect. When it's sunny out, the tint blocks most of the sun, cause the glare on the mirrors causes the tint to cloud over on the outside. Best of all, it's not dark at all looking outside. The only downside is that it doesn't look as good as like a 20% all black tint, but it's much more functional and more importantly is legal.

since you live in Florida, you don't have to worry about the cops pulling you over regarding your tint. I live in South Florida myself and everybody has dark tint down here. I have 18% tint on my Max and have never had a problem with the cops. Just got a ticket last week for driving in the HOV lane and he didn't say a word about my tint, so there's no need to worry about that.
It's a different story in other states though. My parents live in Little Rock Arkansas and their very strict regarding tint there. Anything under 35% you're garunteed a ticket. I've got a brother in Va and they gave him a ticket and 30 days to remove or change his tint. He had 20% on his pickup, so each state is different, but don't worry about it in Florida.

I also want to see black rims on a black maxima because I'm planning to paint my altezzas black and I think It'll look sweet all black.
