Strange problem on 06 Envoy

I just purchased a new Envoy 5 days ago and now every now and then the interior lights flash on and the car does the "bing bing bing" sound and then goes back to normal. It doesn't seem anything is left on by accident and the seatbelt is being worn. No lights come on on the dashboard. I am scheduled to take it in to the dealer on monday. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. It doesn't even have 200 miles on it yet! Just wondered if anyone had heard about this.

It could be a faulty door switch. Its thinking the door is open, turning the dome lights on, and sounding the "door ajar" chime. I betchya its that.

Re: Strange problem on 06 Envoy

The Dealer should recognize right away by your explanation that you have a faulty door switch--a very easy item to fix..
